FLOC: Boosting our own sustainable wool brand

FLOC, proudly co-owned by SHARP, is the UK’s first fully sustainable and traceable British Wool company, using wool which can be entirely traced back to the flock. We needed to create a meaningful brand identity to reach people who care about low-carbon fashion and supporting local farmers. Following a Co-Create by SHARP, we arrived at the proposition ‘Sustainable British Wool-wear for People is Here!’
What the FLOC?
We wanted to create a name that illustrated the simplicity of the brand and its promise to guarantee 100% sustainable, British wool from happy sheep in UK fields. To that end, FLOC was born. We then developed a visual identity, suite of digital campaigns, new Shopify website and a continuing social media presence, all while retaining the USP of the company. To further boost the brand, a one-off Valentine’s Day competition was created, where one lucky winner would receive a free FLOC Bobble Hat.
